Why Nand Ghars Matter
Anganwadis are the backbone of India’s early childhood and maternal care system. Many still require child-friendly classrooms, digital tools, safe sanitation, and structured learning spaces. Modern, well-equipped centres are essential to break cycles of malnutrition, poor learning, and limited opportunities. Nand Ghar fills this gap with a future-ready model aligned with ICDS priorities.

September, 2015
Landmark MoU signed with the Ministry of Women and Child Development,
Government of India, to establish 4,000 Nand Ghars across India.
February, 2016
First operational Nand Ghar inaugurated in village Nagepur in Varanasi, marking the start of on-ground transformation.
August, 2019
1,000th Nand Ghar inaugurated in Amethi, Uttar Pradesh, by then WCD Minister Smt. Smriti Zubin Irani.
February, 2022
MoU signed with the Government of Rajasthan to develop 25,000 Nand Ghars across the state — among the largest PPPs in ECCE.
December, 2023
Hon’ble Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi visited a flagship Nand Ghar in Varanasi, recognising it as a unique, integrated ECD model.
April, 2025
Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Smt. Diya Kumari, launches “Balvardhan,” aimed to benefit 80,000+ children and 15,000+ pregnant and lactating women.
June, 2025
MoU with Zilla Parishad, Gadchiroli, to transform 100 Anganwadi Centers in Maharashtra; partnership formalised in presence of Hon’ble CM Shri Devendra Fadnavis.
November, 2025
Milestone achievement of 10,000 Nand Ghars across 17 states.

मैं जब बचपन को देखता हूँ, तो आने वाला कल दिखता है।
वो बचपन दिखते हैं,
जो बेमतलब से हँस लेते हैं।
जो पेड़ दिखते हैं,
जिन्हें छप्परवाले हैं स्कूलों के।
इन बच्चों में जो पोटेंशियल है,
यही तो देश का कह है।पर बच्चों के देश के लिए कुछ कर पाएँ,
इसके लिए ज़रूरी है कि आप वो झोपड़े ना हार जाएँ।
मुझे इतनी पीड़ा है,
क्योंकि मैं भी पला हूँ अपने कम्फर्ट में
उन झोपड़ियों को देखता हूँ।
हालाँकि पेट भरा है…
भूख से सपना टूटता दिखता है।इन बच्चों के सपने टूट ना जाएँ,
इस लिए हमें हर किसी की मिलकर सोचना है।
बहुत कुछ करना है।
